Our philosophy

We offer a reliable and comprehensive care in which we respond to the children and parents and have time for you. We attach particular importance to the widest possible range of services with specialized professionals on site.
For you or your children this means:

• one of us is available for emergencies via the practice telephone number until 9:00 p.m. and from 7:30 a.m. or from 9:00 a.m. on Sundays

• the practice is never closed for vacations

Services Of course we offer all common examinations, such as preventive check-ups or vaccinations. We are here for emergencies and all problems as well as diseases in infants, children and adolescents (i.e. usually up to 18 years).

Consultative services External specialists offer you additional services in our practice rooms.

• for your newborn we usually do hearing test and hip ultrasound at the age of four weeks
• allergological clarifications e.g. skin tests
• lung function tests
• Hearing test and eardrum mobility tests
• ECG
• X-ray
• Blood, urine and throat swab tests
• "Plastering" for uncomplicated bone fractures, removal of casts
• Treatment of wounds and injuries
• Desensitization e.g. in case of grass or birch pollen allergy
• EEG examinations (brain wave)

• Pediatric neurological assessment, EEG assessment of psychomotor development, ADHD assessment by Dr. med. Och
• Ultrasound examinations (e.g. abdomen, kidneys, bladder, thyroid, foreign bodies, head in newborns) by Dr. med. Zumbrunn, Dr. med. Menzinger or pract. med. Widmann partly with Prof. Dr. med. Fliegel
• Hip ultrasound by Dr. med. Menzinger, Dr. med. Gemperle, Dr. med. Schmidt, Dr. med. Schmidt-Sprich, Dr. med. Zumbrunn, pract. med. Widmann and pract. med. Rehm
• Pediatric surgical assessment by Dr. med. Frech in alternation with Dr. med. Pfeifle from UKBB, every 4th Thursday afternoon at our practice
• Pediatric orthopedic evaluation by Dr. med. Studer from UKBB, every 4th Friday morning at our practice
• Pediatric cardiology evaluation by Dr. med. Navarini-Meury alternating with Prof. Dr. med. Joëlle Günthard, every 4th Friday morning at our practice
