Osteopathy is a complementary manual medicine that is both curative and preventive, and treats body dysfunctions and mobility disorders. Osteopathic medicine can relieve, treat and prevent functional disorders of the spine, limbs (legs and arms), cranium, digestive and gyneco-obstetrical systems. Osteopathy also focuses on physical symptoms, lifestyle habits and the patient's overall condition.

Patients

Osteopathy is aimed at children and infants (regurgitation, constipation, colic, cranial deformities,...), pregnant women (preparation for childbirth, spinal pain, difficult digestion, urinary tract infections,...), athletes (after-effects of sprains, pubalgia, muscular contractures, local inflammation, preparation for a sporting event,...), the elderly (relief of pain linked to rheumatism, venous return disorders,...).), seniors (rheumatic pain relief, venous return disorders, walking discomfort, etc.) and adults (spinal pain, headaches, limb pain - arms and legs - digestive disorders, functional menstrual and gynecological pain, etc.).

In the event of suspected non-functional pathology, the osteopath may refer the patient to a hospital ward or to the attending physician.
