In addition to general surgery and visceral surgery, minimally invasive/endoscopic surgery, also known as "keyhole surgery", plays a major role in my practice. This surgical technique has several advantages for patients. The small skin incisions result in faster healing. The new techniques such as SILS surgery (Single Incision Laparascopic Surgery) and natural orifice surgery (N.O.T.E.S: Natural orifice transluminal endosocopic surgery) allow less pain, faster recovery and almost invisible scars.
